Course Objectives The aim of this course is to prepare our elderly care students for the profession and to train qualified manpower by enabling them to practice their acquired knowledge and skills in the working environment.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the application environment.
  • Provide care for the sick/healthy elderly in institutions providing elderly care services.
  • Communicate effectively with the elderly people.
  • Collaboration with the medical team and demonstrate working skills in the application environment.
  • Demonstare problem solving skills in clinical practice.
  • Evaluate professional practices in terms of ethics.
  • Observe occupational safety, environmental protection and patient safety in their applications.
Course Description This course includes the applications made in the institution that provides elderly care services.
