    Course Objectives The objective of the theoretical first aid course is to provide students with the knowledge necessary to prevent the deterioration of a casualty’s condition in situations requiring first aid, without the use of medication.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Explain the basic concepts and requirements of first aid.
    • Explain the fundamental principles of scene safety precautions in first aid practices.
    • Sequence the steps of first aid in cases of foreign body aspiration.
    • Recall the principles of basic life support (BLS) for adults and children.
    • Describe the fundamental principles of first aid in injuries.
    Course Description This course provides an overview of general first aid knowledge. It aims to equip students with an understanding of the basic concepts and requirements of first aid. Through this course, students will learn how to intervene in trauma- or medically-related emergencies.
