Anyone may apply to fulfill the requirements of this program.

Graduates will ve oppurtunity to work human resources department, public and private health organizations, health insurance companies, medical equipment and pharmaceutical companies, hospital libraries and health institutions in the archives, in clinical computing services, patient registration and admission.

Graduates of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies Program may pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or International Business Management by successfully passing the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS), in accordance with the relevant legislation.

In addition, graduates may transfer to the open and distance education bachelor's degree programs offered by Atatürk University, Anadolu University, and Istanbul University in the following fields: Public Relations and Advertising, Public Relations and Publicity, Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, Economics, Public Administration, Public Finance, International Relations, Business Administration, Health Management, and Political Science and Public Administration.

Clinical practice courses conducted during the academic year are carried out at İzmir University of Economics Medical Point Hospital, EMOT Hospital, the Faculty of Dentistry of Ege University, and hospitals affiliated with the Provincial Directorate of Health (subject to annual changes).
