    Course Objectives The objective of this course is to introduce students to the concept of global health and raise awareness about current health issues encountered worldwide. It aims to enable students to identify health inequalities, analyze international health policies, understand environmental, technological, and cultural influences on health, and develop professional attitudes based on ethical values.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Explain the concept of global health and the effects of globalization on health.
    • Identify global health issues such as pandemics, non-communicable diseases, and migration.
    • Evaluate global inequalities in access to healthcare services.
    • Discuss the role of international health organizations in global health policies.
    • Explain the impact of climate change, food security, and digital technologies on health.
    • Compare health beliefs and ethical approaches across different cultures.
    Course Description This course addresses the fundamental challenges, dynamics, and search for solutions in healthcare at the global level from a multidimensional perspective. It provides students with a learning environment that encourages analytical thinking through the discussion of contemporary topics such as pandemic management, health inequalities, climate change, migration, global health policies, digital health applications, and ethical issues. The course aims to develop a critical perspective on global health issues and to equip students with the competence to evaluate health services within a broader context.
