Course Objectives This course aims to built an understanding about social security system in Turkey and health insurance.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the notion of social security and the right to have social security.
  • Explain social security systems, their historic process and Turkish social security system.
  • Explain social insurances and the right to health.
  • Compare social security systems.
  • Describe general health insurance and its implementation.
Course Description The notion of social security, right to have social security, social security systems, historical process of social security systems, historical process of Turkish social security, the notion of social insurance and types of social insurance, social security and general health insurance law no. 5510 in general, right to health, health systems, types of health insurance and general health insurance, its extent and implementation principles.
