1. Possesses up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge required by professional practice in the field.
2. Uses field-related instruments, equipment, and technologies; maintains and operates them appropriately, and utilizes basic information and communication technologies.
3. Identifies and analyzes problems in the field, develops evidence-based solution proposals, and shares these proposals with others.
4. Is aware of legal responsibilities and is capable of independently carrying out fundamental-level professional tasks.
5. Communicates accurately, clearly, honestly, and effectively with patients, patients’ relatives, and colleagues; conveys thoughts and information in both written and verbal forms.

12. Explains laboratory hygiene, waste management, and laboratory safety in the field of Medical Laboratory Techniques and takes necessary precautions in accordance with protection rules.
13. Defines and performs laboratory workflow procedures (receiving samples, conducting analyses, reporting, and communicating results).
