Educational Objectives of the Program

1. Training Qualified and Competent Medical Laboratory Technicians:
To educate medical laboratory technicians who are experts in their field, possess ethical values and communication skills, and are capable of working collaboratively within a team environment through science-based education.

2. Providing Practical Training Opportunities:
To equip students with practical skills through laboratory applications in addition to theoretical knowledge.

3. Developing Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills:
To enhance students’ analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities through learner-centered teaching approaches.

4. Supporting Professional and Personal Development:
To support students in continuously improving their professional knowledge and skills, and to cultivate individuals who can respond to evolving workforce needs with innovative thinking skills, as well as a strong sense of social and community responsibility.

In line with these objectives, our program goals are listed below:

Program Learning Outcomes

In accordance with our aim of “Training Qualified and Competent Medical Laboratory Technicians,” our objectives are as follows:

1.1. To ensure that students acquire fundamental theoretical knowledge by taking compulsory and elective courses related to the fields of the Medical Laboratory Techniques (TLT) program.

1.2. To equip students with the ability to act in accordance with professional ethical principles.

1.3. To develop students’ ability to communicate effectively with patients, patients’ relatives, and colleagues.

1.4. To enable students to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and take responsibility in their professional practice areas.

In accordance with our aim of “Providing Practical Training Opportunities”:

2.1. To ensure that students acquire professional practical skills related to their field in laboratory settings.

2.2. To enable students to effectively apply their professional skills in real-world settings through field practice and internships.
