Course Objectives The aim of this course is to follow up sexual development in children with special needs and support sexual health in children with special needs.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain characteristics of sexual identity development.
  • Explain sexual development periods.
  • Explain sexual development processes related to children with special needs.
  • Discriminate incorrect information and beliefs about sexuality.
  • Describe what to do to make the special needed children to protect themselves.
  • Explain the principles of cleanliness and hygiene education.
