The Child Development program is an educational program that provides services to the child, family, educators, and society through theoretical and practical training programs that support all developmental domains of typically developing children in the preschool period as well as children with special educational needs.
Graduates who have completed the Child Development Program and obtained a diploma can work in preschool education institutions, special education institutions, and pediatric clinics.
Graduates of the Child Development Program may complete a bachelor's degree in fields such as Child Development, Preschool Education, Special Education Teaching, Health Management, and Social Work through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center.
Graduates may operate in pre-school institutions, kindergarten, private educational institutions and children’s clinics.
Our university has an application kindergarten affiliated with the Child University Application and Research Center. In addition, we have protocols with İzmir Private Turkish Colleges, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZELMAN Yuvamız İzmir Kindergartens, and ESBAŞ Kindergarten.
Students who successfully complete the Child Development Program are awarded the title of "Child Development Specialist."
One of our most important advantages is the presence of an application kindergarten within the university, which provides students with a practical field for both coursework and internships. In addition, applied courses can also be conducted in this building.
