Course Objectives It is aimed for health technicians in the health services to have the responsibility to increase the knowledge level and knowledge about the health legislations and to have knowledge about the legal situations that they would encounter while performing health services in their professional lives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to define health legislation and legal responsibilities in our country.
  • Will be able to define how to follow current developments in the field of health
  • Will be able to define his / her rights and responsibilities
  • Will be able to explain patient rights and own responsibilities.
  • Will be able to make inferences about the consequences of possible errors while performing the service.
  • Will be able to define Legal Responsibilities in Forensic Cases
Course Description Ethical dimension of health professions, medical ethics principles and importance, Principle of respect for autonomy, Informed consent, Privacy, Confidentiality and confidentiality, Self-determination, Benefit principle, Loss (malpractice) and prevention (malpractice) in fulfilling the service, euthanasia and organ transfer due to medical ethics.
