Course Objectives With this course, it is aimed that the student will understand the routes of administration, pharmaceutical forms, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamic properties of drugs (such as absorption, distribution, metabolism, mechanisms of action, factors that change their effects), and the characteristics of drug groups commonly used in the field while practicing their profession.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to learn the basic concepts of pharmacology
  • Will be able to learn the interaction of drugs in the body, drugs used based for the system.
  • Will be able to list the factors that change the effect of drugs
  • Will be able to describe the mechanism of action, side effects and contraindications of drugs used in emergency medicine (cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, genitourinary system, metabolic aciller, neurological system drugs)
  • Will be able to define what to do in case of poisoning.
Course Description General Pharmacology, emergency drugs (system system), intoxications are covered.
