Course Objectives The aim of the course is to practise basic life support and advanced life support
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to understand the importance of Basic Life Support and advanced life support.
  • will be able to provide Basic Life Support
  • Will be able to apply first aid and emergency care in case of choking .
  • Will be able to apply the AED defibrillation and cardioversion.
  • Will be able to apply opening airway and oxygen therapy.
Course Description This course; It is planned for students to gain experience by applying basic life support in adults, children and infants, and first aid and emergency care in solid object-related drownings - opening the airway techniques, providing respiratory support, tools used in oxygen therapy, oxygen therapy, intubation, AED, defibrillation.
