Course Objectives To understand advanced life support applications and diagnose rhythm, as well as to teach and apply the applications of intubation, defibrillation, cardioversion, cardiac and respiratory arrest, and intraosseous disease, which are included in advanced life support, to students one by one.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The students who succeeded in this course will be able to apply cardiac monitoring and evaluate basic ECG rhythms
  • will be able to perform rhythm analysis and apply prehospital algorithms as a team member
  • will be able to diagnose ECG rhythms of acute coronary syndrome, hypertrophies, bundle branch blocks and apply prehospital algorithms
  • will be able to diagnose cardiac arrest rhythms and implement protocolss
  • will be able to apply intubation, defibrillation and cardioversion
  • will be able to apply advanced life support algorithms
Course Description This course has been created to diagnose by electrocardiography and to resolve these diagnoses by paramedics outside the hospital by applying emergency care protocols. However, this course also covers the protocols of applications such as intubation, defibrillation and cardioversion.
