Department of OpticianryIn the Opticianry Program, students’ academic and practical performance in courses and applied training is evaluated in accordance with the İzmir University of Economics Associate and Undergraduate Education and Training Regulations.
To graduate, students must successfully complete a total of eight elective courses, at least three of which must be OPT-coded field electives.
Students who are academically unsuccessful may, with the approval of their academic advisor and without exceeding the normal course load, take the following courses:
With advisor approval, students may also continue their studies with a reduced course load. However, semesters in which courses are repeated are included in the maximum duration of study.
