Internship Application Process

As of 2024, all internship application procedures are conducted digitally through the OASIS Student Information System. Detailed information regarding the process can be accessed via the Career Guidance Center website under the Student Dean’s Office at İzmir University of Economics.

The process begins with the student having the Internship Acceptance Form digitally approved by the institution where the internship will be conducted and obtaining approval from one of the members of the Applied Education Committee. After internship approval, the student must upload the required documents for insurance and internship commencement procedures to the internship application page in OASIS. These procedures must be completed at least two weeks before the internship start date. Late submissions of internship applications and documents will not be accepted.

Procedures After Completion of Internship

Upon completion of the internship, the Intern Evaluation Form and attendance sheet must be submitted to the internship commission in a sealed envelope containing the official stamp and signature of the host institution. Forms submitted without a seal and signature will not be evaluated.

Students are also required to submit the Internship Site Evaluation Form, duly signed, to the internship commission.

Internship reports must be uploaded to Blackboard under the “Medical Imaging Techniques Internship” course by the final submission deadline. A sample internship report format is provided at the link below.

Internship Examination

Students are required to ensure that all documents and signatures in the internship file are complete. No oral or written examination is conducted; evaluation is based solely on document review.
