Educational Objectives

1. Training Qualified and Competent Medical Imaging Technicians:
To train medical imaging technicians who are experts in their field through science-based education, who possess ethical values and communication skills, and who are capable of working effectively within a team spirit.

2. Providing Practical Training Opportunities:
To equip students with practical skills through laboratory training and hands-on experience in partner hospitals, medical centers, and imaging centers, in addition to theoretical knowledge.

3. Developing Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills:
To enhance students’ analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities through learner-centered educational approaches.

4. Supporting Professional and Personal Development:
To educate individuals who continuously develop their professional knowledge and skills, respond to changing workforce needs through innovative thinking, and possess a sense of social and community responsibility.

1.1. To ensure that students acquire fundamental theoretical and technical knowledge by taking compulsory and elective courses in the Medical Imaging Techniques program.
1.2. To provide students with the ability to act in accordance with professional ethics and patient rights.
1.3. To develop effective and accurate communication skills with patients, patient relatives, and healthcare teams.
1.4. To enable students to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team and take responsibility within team settings.
1.5. To ensure that students can effectively use current knowledge and technologies in healthcare.
1.6. To ensure compliance with radiation protection and radiation safety principles.
1.7. To enable students to operate medical imaging devices accurately and safely.

2.1. To ensure that students acquire professional application skills through simulation-based learning environments.
2.2. To provide students with real clinical experience in healthcare settings (hospitals, medical centers, imaging centers) through clinical practice and compulsory internships.

3.1. To develop students’ analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills.
3.2. To equip students with the ability to solve technical and clinical problems that may arise in medical imaging processes.
3.3. To train individuals who can correctly apply radiation safety principles in clinical practice and respond appropriately in case of accidents or hazards.
3.4. To develop the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in extraordinary situations (e.g., device malfunction, emergency imaging conditions, patient non-compliance).

4.2. To ensure that students work by observing radiation safety, patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical principles in medical imaging practice.
