| Course Objectives | The aim of this course is to provide general information about addiction, to understand the types of addiction, the causes and biopsychosocial factors related to addiction, the effects of addiction on individuals and society, how to communicate with individuals with addiction, and to provide knowledge about fighting addiction. |

| Course Description | Addiction and Addiction Prevention course comprehensively addresses the concept of addiction and the processes involved in combating it. While examining the biological, psychological, and sociological foundations of addiction, as well as its individual and societal effects, the course also thoroughly covers the protective and preventive strategies used in the fight against addiction. |
