Physiotherapy is a rapidly developing field of treatment and rehabilitation whose importance continues to grow both in Türkiye and worldwide. Accordingly, the demand for qualified healthcare professionals in this field is steadily increasing. The growing number of individuals requiring physiotherapy due to various diseases, injuries, and age-related conditions has further increased the need for physiotherapy technicians who possess the knowledge and competencies to support physiotherapists.
Through our Physiotherapy Program, we educate competent physiotherapy technicians who are equipped with up-to-date scientific and technological knowledge, capable of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams, committed to professional ethics, and able to perform their duties within the scope of their authority and responsibilities with the necessary professional knowledge and practical skills.
Upon graduation from our Physiotherapy Program, graduates may pursue employment in a variety of healthcare settings, including physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, public hospitals, private hospitals, and spa and thermal treatment centers.
Graduates of the program have the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, and Health Management by taking the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) in accordance with the relevant legislation.
The clinical components of our practical courses conducted during the academic year are carried out in the University's Physiotherapy Practice Laboratory and at the healthcare institutions listed below.
