| Course Objectives | A number of neurological and psychiatric changes are also observed in the natural course of aging. These changes can develop very quickly and suddenly, or they can show slow and progressive features. Recognition of these changes observed with aging will provide an opportunity for a timely and appropriate intervention for the elderly individual to continue his or her life in a healthy way. In this course, it is aimed to have basic knowledge about psychiatric disorders and neurological diseases in old age. |

| Course Description | It covers the evaluation of neurological and mental status changes associated with aging in older individuals and the description of neurological and psychiatric diseases frequently encountered in this population. It is a course in which the right approach to patients and the content of the care provided are explained. |
