Course Objectives In this course, it is aimed to provide our students with theoretical and practical knowledge about service steps, functioning, management of offices, office automation, ergonomics in offices, occupational health and safety in health organisation offices.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • explain the concepts of management, management theories and management history
  • list the types of Offices
  • explain management functions
  • define productivity in offices
  • use hospital information systems
  • use organizational communication skills
Course Description Management and office management concepts, historical development of office management, types of offices, organizational communication, ergonomy in offices importance of it, occupational health and safety in offices, efficiency in offices, system improvement, hospital information systems will be discussed.\The theoretical background of the subjects will be supported by appropriate in-class activities, discussions and student presentations, and students will be helped to put the knowledge they have learned into practice.
