Course Objectives To give general information about the causes of rheumatic diseases in the elderly
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Defines rheumatic diseases,
  • Apply the care of rheumatic diseases.
  • Learns the definition and maintenance of motion system disease,
  • Explain the patient's rehabilitation needs.In rheumatic diseases,
  • Learn the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform the current physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices.
Course Description Age-related changes in the musculoskeletal system. Osteoporosis and fractures in the elderly. Connective tissue diseases, Rheumatoid arthritis. Low back pain, Ankylosing spondylitis, Gout Disease, Osteoartoz, tendinitis, bursitis, foot problems. Chronic fatigue syndrome. Pain. Classification of rheumatic diseases, physiotherapy, assessment methods updated rehabilitation
