Course Objectives It is aimed to prepare students of elderly care programme for the profession by enabling them to practice the knowledge and skills they have gained in the working environment and to train qualified labor force.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Take care of the sick/healthy seniors in institutions providing elderly care services.
  • Provide social and psychological needs and offer rehabilitation suggestions.
  • Manage the programs planned for the elderly who need rehabilitation.
  • Communicate effectively with the elderly.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills in clinical practice
  • Evaluate professional practices in terms of ethics.
Course Description It includes the applications made in the institution providing elderly care services.
