Course Objectives At the end of this course; it is aimed to understand what to look for in the care of an individual with chronic disease and how to protect from chronic diseases in healthy individuals.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define chronic diseases and concepts related to chronic diseases.
  • List the most common chronic diseases in the elderly.
  • Explain the causes and affecting factors of chronic diseases.
  • Count the symptoms of chronic diseases.
  • Explain complications that may arise after chronic system diseases.
  • Define chronic system diseases and features of elderly care in chronic system diseases.
  • Develop holistic approach recommendations for the elderly with chronic disease.
  • Analyze scientific data related to chronic diseases by showing critical thinking skills.
Course Description This course is a lesson that description of the definition of chronic disease, its properties, how to avoid from chronic diseases and how to care for chronic diseases.
