Course Objectives The purpose of the course is that providing our students theoretical and practical information about the concept of health, health system, organization of health system, hospital management, management strategies, restoration of hospital, information technologies in the health institution, management of human resource and performance.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the concept of health, factors affecting health, health system and the features of an efficient health system
  • Explain the basic managerial and operational processes and hospital organization in a health institution.
  • Explains the establishment process of a health institution.
  • Describe the concept and methods of corporate marketing
  • Explain human resource management processes in health institutions.
  • Compare the organizational charts of hospitals.
  • Analyze a health system with critical thinking skills.
Course Description In this course, it will be provided basic information about concept of management, concept of health and its determiners, classification of health institution and services, hospitals’ general structure and organization, human resource in hospitals, administration of performance, administrative and clinical information systems in the health institutions.
