Course Objectives The aim of this course is to gain adequate knowledge and skills about the types of bacteria, virus and fungi, and how to apply the tests to identify them.
Course Description The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain types and properties of bacteria
  • Explain types and properties of viruses
  • Describe diagnostic tests to identify bacteria and viruses
  • Describe diagnostic tests to identify yeast and fungi
  • Explain properties of mold and yeast plants
Course Content Types and properties bacteria, methods applied to identify bacteria, types and properties of viruses, methods applied to identify viruses, yeast and fungi, and methods applied to identify them.
