Course Objectives The course aims to give understanding of all kinds of social rehabilitation techniques that needed for healthy or sick elder care.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • define social rehabilitation.
  • explain the importance, purpose and function of psycho-social rehabilitation.
  • describe the social and mental problems faced by the elderly.
  • express ways and methods of increasing self-confidence in old age.
  • explain the importance of social support in old age
  • take responsibility as a team member in applications
Course Description This course covers the importance of lifelong health and healthy aging, in this context, the definition and determination of psycho-social problems that may arise in old age, and the protection and maintenance of the skills of the elderly in order to develop and strengthen coping mechanisms in this regard.
