Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make the students learn about children with special learning difficulties, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, children with physical disabilities, children with autism spectrum disorder, mentally disabled children, gifted and talented children.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain the characteristics and training of physically disabled children.
  • Describet he characteristics and training of children with mental disabilities.
  • Discuss the characteristics and training of children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Explain the characteristics and training of children with special learning difficulties.
  • Classify the characteristics and training of gifted and talented children.
Course Description This course include the characteristics of disabled children, prevention and early diagnosis of disability and planning the education of these individuals.
